Der Kraftstoffverteilerdrucksensor (FRP/RPS) ist eine wichtige Sensorkomponente im Diesel-Hochdruck-Common-Rail-Kraftstoffeinspritzsystem. Es überwacht kontinuierlich den Kraftstoffdruck im Common Rail (Kraftstoffverteiler) und wandelt den Druck in ein elektrisches Signal um, das zur präzisen Kraftstoffeinspritzung und Druckregelung an die ECU (Motorsteuereinheit) übertragen wird.
